About This Dog

Duke's ideal home

Duke is a 2.5-year-old Great Dane looking for a fresh start. This sweet boy has not had the best start to live but is looking for a patient home with adopters who can continue to help his confidence grow. Duke has lived with other dogs previously, so could live with another well-established dog pending successful meets here at the centre. He could live with calm children of a primary school age and above. Duke can be worried whilst out and about, so he would benefit from a garden to call his own.

Could you be Duke's perfect match?

Duke is very much a gentle giant. He can be worried initially, but once he has a relationship with you he will happily approach for gentle scratches and has so much love to give. He enjoys going on sniffy walks around the centre and is food-motivated so is always up for a treat (or two!).
